I have to admit I feel like I am starting over from scratch. So, I decided I needed a bit of help. I registered for the Stride into the GU Year that the Train Like a Mother Club from Another Mother Runner.
Who is Another Mother Runner?
Another Mother Runner is a tribe of women lead by Dimity and Sarah. I have actual met both of them in person. They have this virtual tribe. They are also published authors. There are three books in the series. I believe I am in two of the books.
Train Like A Mother Club
A while back, the two co-mother-runners in chief started a training club. They have coaches and Dimity sort of runs the club. They have training programs for all distances and for triathlons. They also have a heart rate training program. And, every now and then, they run these stride programs. Strides are five weeks. This is my second one and I love them. They are short enough you don’t get bored but long enough for you to re-establish a habit.
What do I think?
I have just started, yesterday, this current stride. I did not complete my previous one. Life got in the way. I’ll keep you up to date on how this one works out. It is definitely showing me how out of shape I’ve let myself get.
