Review of January Goals

Well, my January goals were hefty.  I set my sights high usually.

  • Walk 20 miles this month.
  • Do Pilates 4 times a week starting week of 16 Jan.
  • Read 2 books.
  • Read Simple Abundance daily.
  • Pay NYSEG bill by 1/19.
  • Set up menu plans for the month, taking into consideration when the college kids are home, sporting events and practices, Odyssey of the Mind practices.
  • Pay off any small debts (under $50) that are possible.
  • Make $700 payment on Susan’s European soccer trip.
  • Get Susan to PO to get passport.
  • Make running list of art magazine themes.
  • Join three swaps for January and make items and mail.

Unfortunately, I did not do well.  There was a huge cash flow issue here because of three kids going back to college.  This hit a lot of the areas hard.  I had to back out of two of my three swaps for January due to no money to mail the items.  I was also late paying the NYSEG bill.  I paid off no small debts.

I guess the biggest thing I did do was get a list of art magazine themes going.  This allowed me to set my sights on some items I want to create.  I will try again to get the rest of this going soon.

As for my walking, I started keeping track of minutes walked on bcwalks.com.  They keep track by minutes but even that was small for January.  I am trying to work more time into February for this.
