I don’t know the last time I was excited about winter.  I love snow.  I love to ski and snowshoe – no not alpine skiing, cross country.  So, imagine my joy today to find the following blurb in the local paper.

Greenwood Park open for skiing, snow shoeing

Broome County’s Greenwood Park is opened for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing.

The trails are open until 4 p.m. daily. Equipment rentals are available at $3 per hour. The trail fee is $4 per day. Season passes are also available at the park in the Town of Nanticoke.
