How do you celebrate your birthday?

I use to know how to throw a party and have a great time. Unfortunately, six years ago, my birthday was on an infamous day in US history. Now, I feel weird celebrating. It is actually getting easier with time but that first year or two was odd.

Anyway, what do you do to celebrate your birthday?
