I have read several of the Sadie Kramer mysteries by Deborah Garner and have loved each for a different reason. A Flair for Flip Flops is the latest addition and did not disappoint at all. In this particular mystery, Kramer is not in San Francisco where she lives and owns a boutique. She has decided to take a vacation at a Southern California resort that is on the ocean.
Of course, Kramer’s wonderful little sidekick Coco the Yorkie is with her on vacation. And the pup is full of energy, bringing all kinds of goodies from the beach to Sadie for pets and accolades. And, equally as necessary, is Coco finding things in the sand other than just shells.
When Sadie arrives to check in, she receives a ticket or two to some special events going on at the hotel. When the celebrity for the first event does not show up to the event but does show up on the shore, things get interesting as Sadie and another guest what to figure out what happened.
You need to pick up a copy of A Flair for Flip Flops to figure out the mystery and to find out all about the shopping Sadie does well on vacation because what is a vacation without some shopping.
