As you all know, or maybe you don’t, Addison Cole is a pen name for Melissa Foster. The books Addison writes are not as hot as the ones Melissa writes. This is the first time I have read the Melissa book and then right after it the Addison book. I found this a difficult thing to do because I kept comparing the two books. Both books, though, are wonderful.

I love the settings of the Sweet with Heat: Bayside Summers series. Cape Cod was a favorite place of mine as a child, even though I only went there once. I loved the short vacation we took there. While reading about the Cape, I am always transported back to that time in my life.

Would star crossed lovers be the right way to characterize Serena and Drake? I’m not sure but you know there love each other when they are constantly putting the other first as opposed to taking what they really want. When you back up your feelings like that, when the plug finally comes out, fireworks are going to fly. The big question is what do Serena and Drake do with the fireworks?

We should all have friends like Serena and Drake in our lives. I’m sure we all do but it is truly like coming home when I read one of this series.
