Embracing Her Heart might be my favorite book in the Braden-Montgomery series. I have always liked the area in Virgina where the Montgomery books are set. It reminds me of areas I would drive through when I lived in upstate NY and would head south for a road race.

Grace may be one of my favorite characters. She knew she didn’t want to stick around in the small town she was raised in. I remember that feeling. I took off for a two year school as quickly as I could. And, when transferring to a four year school, picked the one furthest away. I was never going back, until I did. Grace is like that.

Add to this Reed. His memories of the small area he grew up in all went around Grace. He didn’t think he could live with that so went north to Michigan and probably would have never come back if he hadn’t found his business partner in a compromising situation.

What happens when the two of them come together is what makes this book fantastic! You need to pick up a copy of Embracing Her Heart and give it a read. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.
