Country Courtship is a book in The Texas Two Step series. I have previously read Chasing Charlie but do not think that it is necessary to read that or the novella The Lassoed Bride to enjoy this book. I have read all three and will read more from the series as they become available.
I am an avid romance reader and cowboys do intrigue me. This series gives me both. Add to that the intelligence of many of the characters and I am ready to haul off to Texas and find myself my own cowboy.
I particular enjoyed the story of Ben and Barbara in The Lassoed Bride. When a long lost love is found, I think romance is still alive in the world.
The chase between Bobby Gray and Kelli is another great romance. Kelli is a good sister and will not take a man from her sister, even if her sister does not really want Bobby Gray. The continuing dance between Bobby Gray and Kelli to get past Kelli’s hesitancy is a work of art.
