I swore I never understood women wearing a thong. That was many years, and some where around sixty pounds, ago.
Nowadays, at the ripe age of being closer to 50 than to 40, I have discovered the lace thong. It has become one of my absolutely favorite pieces of undergarments.
I admit this transformation was not at all an all at once change. When I was heavier, I wore 100% cotton briefs. I still, at certain times of the month, resort to my comfort zone and my cotton briefs.
As I ran more miles and dropped more pounds, I bought smaller briefs – one size at a time. Than, Macy’s had an undergarment sale. I bought lace-trimmed panties, silky and not a true brief and rather high cut in the leg. Should anyone see them, my legs on my five foot five form would appear longer.
Then came my first thong. It was a clearance item. I was unsure of a size. The first two I bought were too large. I bought more, a smaller size. I love wearing them!!!
I love my thong – all lacy and comfy. I love that my firm buttocks look good in my jeans without panty lines.

I used to wear a thong and still try to sneak a pair in here and there but if my daughter is around, I can’t do it. She thinks my underwear is on backwards and doesn’t stop telling me that I must take them off and turn them around. So now, I am happy with my CK boyshort undies. Not quite as sexy but still fun!
Becca – my kids just blush. They see the thongs hanging to dry and turn bright red. Probably the only thing that will make a teenager blush! I have a couple pairs of boyshort undies too. Love ’em, just not as much.
