Crazy Fox Ranch – A Book Review

Crazy Fox Ranch by [Garner, Deborah]

NEW RELEASE….

When NY reporter Paige MacKenzie leaves Manhattan for Jackson Hole, she has only two things on her mind: enjoy life with Wyoming’s breathtaking Grand Tetons as the backdrop, and spend more time with handsome cowboy Jake Norris as he prepares to open his guest ranch.

As Paige begins to settle in, a stranger’s odd behavior leads her to research western filming in the area – in particular, the movie, Shane. Will digging into Hollywood’s movie connection with Jackson Hole simply lead to a freelance article for the Manhattan Post, or will it lead to a dangerous hidden secret?

About the author

Deborah Garner is an accomplished travel writer with a passion for back roads and secret hideaways. Born and raised in California, she studied in France before returning to the U.S. to attend UCLA. After stints in graduate school and teaching, she attempted to clone herself for decades by founding and running a dance and performing arts center, designing and manufacturing clothing and accessories, and tackling both spreadsheets and display racks for corporate retail management. Her passions include photography, hiking and animal rescue. She speaks five languages, some substantially better than others. She now divides her time between California and Wyoming, dragging one human and two canines along whenever possible.

Deborah Garner writes a mystery for Paige MacKenzie to find everywhere. When Paige decides to become a freelance writer and leave the hustle and bustle of big city life, she heads for Jake and his guest ranch. The ranch is being renovated so there are a lot of people working on it. Yet, Paige manages to single out one who is odd. He is not a worker but has tried to buy the ranch from Jake several times.

In the process of this, Jake tells Paige briefly of the history of Hollywood in his little area of Jackson Hole. Into Paige’s mind pops an article for her former boss’s magazine. While searching into the history of movie making in Jackson Hole, Paige comes to close to what the man trying to purchase Jake’s ranch might be looking for. Of course, this lands Paige in a bit of trouble but she always seems to find the mystery and trouble.

You will not regret picking up a copy of Crazy Fox Ranch to figure out the mystery all on  your own. I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.
