Addison Cole has hit it out of the park again! I absolutely fall back in love with characters met in previous Sweet with Heat books when I pick up a new release. It’s like coming home to visit old friends.
Lizzie’s alter ego, The Naked Baker, is person I would have liked to met. She is so different, yet in some basic ways so like Lizzie. The Naked Baker is driven. Lizzie is also driven. The Naked Baker knows what her viewer wants. Lizzie knows what her customers want when they come in P-town Petals. I am totally amazed no one made the connection – despite the blonde wig and glasses – between the two.
Blue has always been a favorite of mine. I really thought he and Sky might have a more than friendship chance. I am not, though, disappointed in any way that Blue got together with Lizzie. Of course, they have some bumps to overcome but that is what makes this book so life-like. There is nothing that bothers me more than a romance that is smooth because, honestly, have we ever had one in real life? I think not.
Pick up Addison Cole’s new release, Seized by Love at Seaside, and see what happens with Lizzie, Blue and others you may have read about previously. If this is your first Sweet with Heat book, do not worry. You can read it as a standalone but I doubt it will be the last Sweet with Heat you read.
