What have you been up to lately?

If  you follow me on social media, you’ll know that my life has been consumed with moving. I have a timeline but it is dependent on one piece of the puzzle that is coming into focus. Other pieces are also falling into frame.

My house is filled with books and boxes. The books – most of them, anyway – are going somewhere. I am not sure if the library will take the number I have to donate. I need to call them and find out. I’m also think local elementary schools. I know my daughter’s friend took many in January. I have friends with grandchildren who are also looking through them.

Last week was all about getting ready for a garage sale, in my house. I did get rid of some items but only had four people show up. I made $45. That covers the storage unit in NC for the next month with enough left for a beer with friends.

Now, the big news. I have also been editing and formatting my first novel. I have several written and I’m trying to decide how long to make them along with pricing points. This is a big step for me as I have only let select people read my writing previously. The writing, the formatting, the looking for the right cover art – it’s all time consuming. I will try to be a bit more regular here but do not worry. I’ll let you all know when the book is available.
