I have written about plastic bag beads before here. I really enjoy this process – having taken a kabob skewer and making it a crafting item. I have made blue beads for my first attempt.

The above is my second attempt. I wanted to make them look more like precious metals. I used a goldish embossing powder. The scan does not do the goldish flecks in these beads justice. I am still having issues getting a uniform size but I believe that will come with time and practice.
